Christine and Ronaldo fell in love with Madrid in the late 90s, and they’ve been sharing its story ever since. Discover the personal journey and unique passion that fuels every carefully curated walking and biking tour they offer.

Though life took them across continents, they returned long ago and still cherish the city as it evolves. Christine is French-American, Ronaldo is American. Together, they offer curated experiences in English, French, and Spanish—sharing 25 years of stories, flavors, and local insight in small group private paseos or strolls through the mosaic that is Madrid.  

Christine: The Culinary Explorer

Christine is a passionate cook, culinary explorer, and Spanish literature major who loves bringing culture and food together. She’s lived in different regions of Spain and traveled widely, always seeking out the country’s rich culinary traditions. What she loves most about Madrid is how the city brings together the specialties of every corner of Spain. With its vibrant markets and buzzing tabernas as her daily inspiration, Christine shares this mosaic of flavors through her tours—infused with warmth, curiosity, and a deep love for storytelling.

Ronaldo: The History & Wine Enthusiast 

Ronaldo first came to Europe with a backpack and a Eurail pass, and the Old Continent’s history captivated him from the beginning. Being a native Californian who loves history and appreciates fine wines, today he is known as a top Madrid bicycle tour guide. He shares both modern and old history of Madrid, entertaining his clients as they experience the different layers of the city’s mosaic. When not leading tours, he loves being in Madrid’s local mountains trekking and enjoying some of Spain’s great wines and asador restaurants with Christine and friends.
